Challenge

Our client’s marketing department was looking for new digital ways to get attention for their product and boost sales. Their main objective was to create a mobile application to demonstrate the high comfort of the apartments for sale and the high-class architecture of the constructed property.

Considering the goals and objectives of the customer, our IT specialists suggested developing a mobile application with augmented reality functionality. According to our vision, the app was supposed to be the marker-based companion software to our client’s brochures and ensure immersive interaction in real-time for the customer’s clientele.

Solution

Innowise has developed a marker-based AR application for the real estate company, both iOS and Android versions. The designed mobile app provides users with an immersive view of the property for sale based on an advanced visual experience.

KEY FEATURES

Our team completed two major challenges at once: developing an irresistible marketing presentation to aquisite more buyers and maintain high technical precision. With all that, The AR app was built to feature the following key elements:

HD Omnidirectional 3D models, fully controlled by the viewer

We started with content generation, encompassing omnidirectional models, recreating interiors and exterior design, filming narration, and designing captions. Everything was designed from scratch and made fully customizable in case any last-minute changes occurred. Then, we incorporated immersive visualizations into the augmented reality app, which is fully compatible with any mobile device.

With no specific requirements at the beginning of the project, we studied the general concept formulated by the client and drew up the technical specifications. Having confirmed the project roadmap and discussed vital challenges, we entered the development phase, relying on the Agile model to allow for fast app building and the focus on continuous improvement.Our AR development specialists decided on Vuforia/Unity as their technology stack as the most convenient way to develop an AR mobile application with 3D content to decrease prototyping time. Innowise has a long history of successful Vuforia and Unity3D-based projects implementation. These technologies help design a powerful engine allowing for the creation of 2D and 3D objects for Android and iOS augmented reality apps.
